We only have six rehearsals until our dress rehearsal for our concert!!!!  Please practice daily, deliberately and with Smartmusic!!!

PreSoli– This week we continued playing in our books!  We worked on numbers12-13.  Review 10-16 each day!  Continue to practice singing and reading your notes.  Review the exercises we did in class and go on to the next ones!   You should be able to go all the way to number 18! Your homework in your book this week is to continue to work on the A string notes with the music: in your books this is #24-26.  Today, we learned the notes of our D major scale: D-E-F#-G-A-B-C#-D  We practiced going up the scale and coming back down.  Remember, it’s the same pattern on both strings!  We also reviewed last week’s song: Each, Each, Each, Each and every Ant, Ant, Ant, Always will go Down, Down, Down, Down into the Ground, Ground, Ground, Ground.

Our New Song: French Folk Song (we only learned the first 10 notes today):
